Shojiro Ishikawa Mandolin 1981 NO.2 Rosewood Handmade

Natural oval body mandolin, rosewood, NO.2.

- Color: Natural
- Case: Hard case
- Tuners: Tuners with white buttons
- Fretboard: Rosewood fretboard
- Body Design: Oval body
- Strings: Mandolin string set included

I received this as a gift due to my involvement with string instruments, but I don't know how to tune or play chords. I would like to pass it on to someone who will use it with care.
The frets show discoloration and rust consistent with age. The neck does not feel significantly warped or deformed to the touch.
The bridge (?) does not appear to be lifting.
There is no play in the tuners.
There are no noticeable gaps or peeling at the body joints.
There are minor scratches and scuffs on the exterior from playing.
I wanted to capture this in the images, but it didn't show up, so I will describe it in text: there are areas on the surface of the paint where there are fine cracks or wrinkles, visible only under certain lighting conditions.
As this is an item with age, it will be sold as-is. Please understand this before purchasing.
*I do not own pets and do not smoke.
