CLR stands for Clear, and it is used to protect the lens without altering its color.
Multi-Coating (MC)
Reduces flare and ghosting, and increases light transmittance.
Does not compromise the lens's original imaging performance.
Protective Use
Protects the front lens element from scratches, dust, and dirt.
Often used as a permanent filter.
Does Not Alter Color
Unlike UV or Skylight filters that correct image quality, this is a transparent protective filter.
