Description
This is a Ficus Burgundy, native to Southeast Asia.
It is called the Black Rubber Plant because its red new shoots eventually turn into black leaves, a color change. To maintain its beautiful black leaves, grow it in partial shade during the summer. In winter, bring it indoors if the temperature drops below 8°C (46°F). The black leaves, purple undersides, and red veins will add an accent to your mature interior decor.
