This product was conceived with input from carpenters and shrine carpenters working hard on job sites.
Previous hammer holders were parallel to the carpenter's legs when storing the hammer, sometimes causing the handle to hit the knee. Also, when squatting, the tip of the hammer handle could hit the ground.
To improve these issues, we designed the hammer to be slanted by creating right-handed and left-handed versions, and made it freely movable with a chain hinge.

Furthermore, because hammer handles are long, care had to be taken not to scratch buildings.
Similarly, because the speed square is also long, similar care was required.
By carrying long items like hammers and speed squares in the same position on your tool belt, you can maintain the same level of caution.
The speed square holder is equipped with a powerful neodymium magnet to prevent dropping.

Additionally, most conventional hammer holders have narrow storage openings, making it impossible to store larger hammers like sledgehammers or rubber mallets used for foundation work or framing.
We made the storage opening as large as possible to accommodate sledgehammers, rubber mallets, and even custom-modified hammer handles. The hammer storage area is reinforced with thick, double-layered tanned leather.

We also took into account feedback that it was difficult to retrieve drift pins from nail bags. To address this, we've placed a fundoshi (loincloth) member below the hammer holder, creating a hidden drift pin holder.
This allows you to store the first drift pins used to secure the frame during framing. You can retrieve both the drift pin and the hammer with one hand.
In addition to drift pins, you can also store nail setters, small nail pullers, pens, and other items.
