This is an exquisite piece with superb carving precision.
The finish is on another level, with incredible detail.
It is rare to find such a magnificent hand-carved Senju Kannon statue.
Ye Senxiang's Senju Kannon statues have subtle differences in facial features, but this one has the most beautiful face I have ever seen,
in my personal opinion.
Due to its rarity and scarcity, this is the price.
★ The statue has been well-preserved, but there is a slight gap between the base and the main body of the statue.
It may be possible to push it down, perhaps due to wood expansion, but given the delicate craftsmanship, pushing it could break the rod on the base.
There are no chips or cracks on the main body, but there are minor stains.

Senju Kannon is the king of Kannon Bodhisattvas, who wields seemingly omnipotent power with their thousand compassionate hands and eyes, saving all people.
With the omnipresent Senju Kannon nearby, you will be protected from illness and sudden disasters, and guided to happiness as your various fortunes improve.

He is the 6th generation successor of the prestigious Ye family in Chinese sculpture.
Dubbed the Young Genius of Chinese Buddha Sculpture, he was recognized at a young age as a Senior Chinese Arts and Crafts Master, equivalent to a Japanese Living National Treasure.

Ye Senxiang comes from a renowned lineage of Chinese wood carving art and graduated from the Beijing Central Academy of Fine Arts, which has produced Chinese Arts and Crafts Masters, equivalent to Japan's Important Intangible Cultural Property Holders (Living National Treasures).
Inspired by Unkei's Mokujiki Dainichi Nyorai Zazo, a famous Japanese National Treasure (Important Intangible Cultural Property), Ye Senxiang creates works such as Thirteen Buddhas, Bodhisattva Kannon, and bronze statues.

His overwhelming sculptural power and meticulous carving techniques are highly acclaimed.
The perfection of his works increases with each passing year,
and in recent years, he has garnered attention not only in Japan but also internationally as a sculptor whose works command high prices in the secondary market.
