Made in Occupied Japan Colonial Couple Porcelain Candle Holders Pair

Vintage **Made in Occupied Japan** porcelain figural candle holder pair featuring an elegantly dressed lady and gentleman. Each ornate figure holds two candles and features hand-painted details, floral accents, scrollwork and gold gilt trim.  Both pieces are stamped **MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN** on the underside, dating them to the post-WWII Occupied Japan period, approximately 1945–1952.  **Condition:** Vintage condition with age-related paint and gilt wear. The **male figurine was previously broken and repaired through the torso**. The repair line is visible and shown clearly in photos. Female figurine has no noted repairs.
