VTG Wm Rogers & Son AA Silver Plate Floral Beaded ESSEX Serving Meat Fork  Rare Gorgeous ESSEX pattern Wm Rogers & Son AA silver-plate service fork with a floral design on the forked area and a plain tightly beaded border on the rounded handle.  Length: 9  The Essex pattern was originally introduced around 1906–1910 and officially discontinued in 1940.  Design Aesthetic: This style is highly recognizable for its clean, minimalist handle and Art Nouveau ornate floral patterns.  This classic Edwardian-era design enjoyed about a 30-year production run. Its production ceased as manufacturer priorities shifted toward the World War II mobilization effort and evolving mid-century aesthetic preferences.
