New-Ray SR-71 Blackbird Plastic Model Airplane 1:72 Scale Military Stealth Jet
New-Ray
A sleek matte-black plastic recreation of the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, the legendary Cold War-era reconnaissance jet famous for outrunning missiles at Mach 3+. Made by New-Ray, this plastic model features the SR-71's distinctive twin canted engine nacelles, twin tail fins, and a molded clear cockpit canopy. The underside is stamped Made in China / Popak New-Ray Mfg. Ltd. Dongguan China, confirming the manufacturer (see close-up photo). Material: molded plastic throughout - fuselage, wings, and canopy. Small internal fasteners may be metal, but the body and all visible parts are plastic. Finished in matte black with red pinstripe and USAF star-and-bar markings. Measures approximately 7 inches long, consistent with New-Ray's compact military aircraft line. Condition: pre-owned, sold loose without the original box or display stand. Paint and body appear intact in the photos, with no cracks, chips, or missing parts noted. Please examine all photos closely, including the manufacturer stamp close-up, for the true condition. The real SR-71 flew reconnaissance missions from the 1960s into the 1990s and remains one of the most recognizable aircraft ever built, a favorite subject for military aviation and Cold War collectors. Great for shelf or desk display, or to add to a collection of Cold War-era military aircraft models. Please examine all photos carefully, as they are considered part of the item's description and condition. All sales are final.
