Vintage Toyo Japan Ginger Jar Hexagonal Porcelain

A very rare vintage Japanese hexagonal porcelain ginger jar with matching lid, the usual is round. Features a detailed Royal Peacock, pink peony, and cherry blossom motif with a blue lattice background and gold gilt trim borders.  The piece has textured, raised hand-enameled details on a six-sided structure. The unglazed base retains the original blue and silver foil Made in Japan export sticker, dating production to the 1970s–1980s. Distributed under the Toyo label.
