Signed Studio Art Pottery Lidded Centerpiece Bowl – Vintage 2005  Striking handmade mixed-media studio pottery centerpiece bowl, artist signed and dated 2005.  The low, broad ceramic vessel features a removable sculptural lid with ceramic uprights supporting dyed palm frond inflorescence twigs secured by woven fiber binding. The combination of pottery and natural materials gives the piece a distinctive Organic Modern, earthy studio-craft character.  The glaze combines turquoise, cream, ochre and iron-rich earth tones. Raw rusty-brown areas visible along the outer rim are intentional artistic surface effects, incorporating glaze crawling and an iron oxide treatment that exposes portions of the toasted clay body. These areas are part of the original design and are not chips.  Approximately 9 diameter based on the measurement shown.  Excellent collector-quality vintage condition with no accidental chips, cracks, hairlines or structural repairs. Palm elements and fiber bindings remain securely intact with no loose pieces or fraying.  Signed and dated 2005 on the underside; artist currently unidentified.
