1960 Thomas Jefferson High School Yearbook Dallas TX - Michael Nesmith Monkees

Up for sale is a fantastic, original copy of The Document, the 1960 school annual for Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas, Texas. This specific volume is highly sought after by music historians and pop-culture enthusiasts because it features a pre-fame Michael Nesmith (later of the iconic 1960s pop-rock group The Monkees) during his junior year! Because Nesmith left high school prior to graduation to enlist in the U.S. Air Force, this 1960 junior-year edition remains one of the very few high school printings to capture him alongside his Texas classmates. He is pictured inside the book under his legal name, Robert Nesmith.
