VTG Carved Wood Leaf Tray Set Sectional Platter & Handle Dish Hand Carved 60s

Set of two vintage carved wooden leaf-shaped serving trays featuring rich natural wood grain and organic mid-century styling. The long slender dish features three distinct hand-carved compartments detailed with dark incised floral motifs, finished with a tapered handle. The larger coordinating tray is shaped as a multi-leaf cluster with six separate sectional serving wells.  1960s to 1970s Mid-Century Modern / Tiki era pieces.  During the '60s and '70s, carved monkey pod and acacia wood tableware imported from Hawaii and the Philippines became huge staples in home enteraining and tiki bar culture. While similar styles carried over into the early 80s, these carved leaf motifs with dark incised details are peak retro mid-century.
