Germany. Early 20th century.  An authentic wall clock by Hamburg-American Clock Company (HAC), dated 1926 by factory markings.  This clock carries the original HAC hallmark  two crossed arrows, a definitive sign of the Hamburg-Amerikanische Uhrenfabrik, one of the most respected German clockmakers of the era.  Crafted with a factory brass movement, this piece features a rack & snail striking mechanism, chiming the hours with a deep, calm sound.  8-day wind, spiral steel gong.  The wooden case retains its original character and proportions.  The clock is in excellent condition, fully functional, and untouched by time  preserving both its mechanical integrity and historical presence.  This is not simply a timekeeper, but a quiet witness to a century of life, made in a period when precision, balance, and craftsmanship truly mattered.  Some pieces do not age  they mature.
