Bose Desktop Sound System Black Companion2 Series II Multimedia Speaker System
Product Overview of Bose Desktop Sound System Black Companion2 Series II Multimedia Speaker System
Clear Sound Achieved Through Unique Design
The Companion2 II features a unique design with the front baffle tilted back approximately 15 degrees, based on research into speaker and listener ear positions and sound propagation in desktop environments. This achieves natural, clear sound unaffected by reflected sound.
57mm Small, High-Performance Full-Range Driver
Born from Bose's speaker technology, the Companion2 II's 57mm small, high-performance full-range driver utilizes a powerful magnetic circuit to enhance sensitivity and dynamic range, delivering rich, full-bodied sound.
Rich Bass Reproduction Beyond Its Size
To reproduce deep bass from small speakers, the design of the port (sound outlet), which amplifies acoustic energy using the air inside the speaker, is crucial. In the Companion2 II, the port, typically placed on the front of the speaker, is positioned on the back of the unit to supplement the amount of low frequencies. This enables clear, powerful, and distortion-free deep bass reproduction despite its compact size.
