Vintage Limoges Brooch Lot 2 Courting Couple Porcelain Glass Cabochon Pins

Charming vintage 2-piece brooch bundle featuring romantic European-style courting scenes in ornate settings.   Included are:   * Round blue brooch – Rich cobalt blue domed cabochon decorated with an intricate gold-tone courting couple and floral scene. The front is marked “Limoges.” Finished with an ornate braided/interwoven gold-tone frame and pin-back closure.  * Oval black brooch – Domed black cabochon featuring an elaborate gold-tone courting couple scene with a woman holding a fan and seated gentleman. Set within an ornate embossed silver-tone floral/scrollwork frame with pin-back closure. No maker’s mark noted.   Both have a wonderful French Provincial / Rococo Revival look and display beautifully together.   Approximate Size:  Both are approximately 2” or slightly larger based on the quarter shown for scale. Please refer to photographs for additional size reference.   Condition:  Pre-owned vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. There is some surface wear, scratching, finish wear, discoloration/patina and signs of previous use to the metal settings and backs. The decorative centers show some age-related wear as visible in the photographs. Pin mechanisms are present.
