This is a plain-colored kimono in purple, made of silk crepe with a wide collar, lined (awase), and features a single family crest (hitotsumon). It is a designer piece with a signature.

This kimono was received from a relative who was involved in tea ceremony about six months ago. I believe it was tailored for tea ceremony events. It seems to have been worn very little.

As it has been stored in a Japanese chest for a long time, there may be a slight storage odor. Please be aware of this.

◆Although this is an amateur inspection, there are two dark spots on the back of the left sleeve and near the bottom of the back panel (Photos 8 & 9). Please forgive any oversights.
As it is a purple kimono, these may be difficult to notice unless closely examined.

I am offering this kimono to someone who can use it, as I do not have many opportunities to wear it.
